Trainee/Junior Outdoor Kitchen and Canopy Installer

THE ROLE

We are seeking to appoint a trainee/junior outdoor kitchen and canopy installer of luxury outdoor lifestyle products. The ideal candidate will have a thirst for learning and be able to show this either in previous education environment or employment in a relevant role or qualifications. They should be able to prove they can work to high standards and are passionate about producing a very high-quality finish for demanding clients. This is a “hands-on” role. We install at locations across the country but predominantly around London and the South East. Some extended travel time, European travel and overnight stays will be required due to project locations and training. The installations will vary from modular to bespoke kitchens and louvered canopies with a full range of other outdoor lifestyle products. Specific product training will be provided if required. The ability to cope with adverse site conditions and weather that will impact on the installation is essential. The quality of the installation and exceeding the clients’ expectations will always be of paramount importance. The safe delivery of heavy, valuable products and negotiating safe and appropriate site access will be required, whilst adhering to health and safety procedures.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Delivering and installing outdoor lifestyle products with attention to the fine detail.

Development of additional skills, knowledge and broad-based competencies to ensure installations are successful.

Some days you will be at our production site helping with WWOO outdoor kitchen production. This will involve the use of cement mixers, weighing of materials, finishing concrete.

Listening and learning from team leaders and other members of the team

Working with a small team.

Ensure to keep up to date with all new products we represent and investigates them fully before we get on site to install.

Ensuring that the customer experience always exceeds their expectations

Effectively and willingly communicate with customer’s enquiries on site and in the showrooms.

Ensure that they are presentable, reliable and punctual at all times

Ensure that vans are kept neat and tidy which includes washing them inside and out

Ensure that tools are cleaned and put back in the correct place

Ability to get to our office in St Albans, AL4 9HJ for 7am or when required

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

GCSE English & Maths, pass

Clean Full UK driving licence, up to 3.5 Tonnes

Must be eligible to work in the U.K

They should also take a keen interest in their own CPD and moving forward in their career. A passion for all things outdoors and cooking would be beneficial.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £ 23K-£ 25K
