🔥 We’re beyond excited to welcome New Zealand-born Chef Matt Burgess — also known as “Mat Blak” — to The Outdoor Kitchen Collective!

Join us for a one-of-a-kind Social Fire-Side Supper Club in our beautiful TOKC courtyard garden, where storytelling, whenua, and flame-kissed flavours come together for an unforgettable evening.

With over 30 years of professional experience, Matt has cooked in some of the world’s most iconic kitchens — from New Zealand to London — including time at Maze Grill with Gordon Ramsay, Bluebird, and Threadneedle Street Restaurant under Jamie Oliver.

His brand, Kaiwhenua, is a celebration of ingredient respect, connection to place, and deep Māori values. Expect an incredible feast of top-quality, seasonal ingredients, cooked over fire and showcasing our favourite outdoor cooking equipment.

This intimate experience is limited to just 12 guests, gathered around our fireside feasting table under the heated Renson canopy — with cosy blankets ready if the evening turns cool.

At TOKC, we love creating memorable moments in great company — where the food is exceptional, the setting is magical, and you’ll leave with a full belly and a few new friends.

    Live Fire - cooked on OFYR – Grilled lobster tails, soy, mirin, yuzu butter

    Living off the Land - cooked in our BRAAI – Burnt leeks, Serrano ham, black garlic mayonnaise, chicken salt

    Flame-Kissed Finale cooked on FLAMMKRAFT – Grilled strawberry cloud cake, white chocolate charcoal cream, elderflower

  • Premium Beer, carefully chosen wine from our neighbours, Gonzalez Byass Spanish wine distributors and soft drinks to accompany the meal

Please note that we are unfortunately unable to cater for individual dietary requirements. Menu may be subject to minor changes. Due to the nature of this event we cannot issue refunds or date transfers however tickets can be transferred to another name. HUMANITIX fees are non-refundable.
